The Chemex is a unique pour-over brewing method using a special carafe and proprietary filters, which has turned coffee brewing into an art form. Instead of using boring coffee makers, you could use this to elevate the pour-over experience.

Fresh Story Seed Coffee
Chemex coffee maker
Chemex filter
Grinder
Hot water
Scale
Timer
Mug
Preparation
Coffee to Water Ratio: 1:17 (1 part coffee to 17 parts water)
For a single serving (240 ml): Use approximately 14 grams of coffee with 240ml of water.
Place a Chemex paper filter (or metal filter) into the carafe's top.
Coarsely or medium-fine grind (sea salt size) your coffee beans.
Rinse the filter with hot water to preheat the Chemex.
Add your coffee grounds to the filter.
Begin slowly pouring hot water in a circular motion.
Allow the coffee to drip through the filter.
Remove the filter and savor the aromatic complexitites.
Pour up and enjoy!
