About the Recipe
You can always find a robust flavor with a French Press. This brewing method requires coarse coffee grounds that mingle with hot water. As the coffee steeps, the pressure of the plunger and screen releases bold flavors that create a full-bodied cup. It's somewhat the essence of coffee in its purest form. This is great for multiple cups at a time.

Ingredients
Freshly roasted Story Seed Coffee
French Press
Spoon
Grinder
Hot water
Scale
Timer
Mug
Preparation
Coffee to Water Ratio: 1:15 (1 part coffee to 15 parts water)
For a single serving (240ml): Use approximately 16g of coffee with 240ml of water.
Preheat the French press using hot water. This helps maintain brewing temperature.
Measure out 16-29 g of coffee and grind it coarse.
Pour out the hot water used to preheat the French press. Pour in the coarse coffee grounds. Start your timer and begin filling your French press with hot water.
Stir the coffee grounds using a spoon, make sure there are no dry spots in the coffee grounds.
Place the top on the French press and allow the coffee to brew without pressing down the screen or plunger.
After 4 minutes firmly press the screen/plunger all the way down.
Once the coffee is done brewing. To prevent the grounds from continuing to steep, pour the entire French Press.
Enjoy!
